     Using an Xbox Kinect camera and the Reconstruct me program, I was able to scan myself and make a 3D model. After the scan, I would first open it in 3D Studio to remove the "watermark" polygons (since the program is free). After that, I would bring it into Autodesk Meshmixer to smooth out the rough edges and fix the holes in the model. Finally, I make a planar cut to cut out the excess material from the bottom so that the model was smooth at the bottom. In the final step, I printed the model with Makerbot Replicator 2.
